No rest for the wicked

As Toby relaxed across the shaded living room sofa keeping a sharp eye out for errant squirrels B and I slaved to finish the new patio. The flagstone had been laid and the flower boxes were filled with a truck full of dirt and many herbs.

At least he was relaxing
So how does one recover from a Saturday of hard labour. I'm not sure how you do it. I of course wait until the house is really warm and then get it into my head to start baking muffins. So all afternoon I baked sour cream muffins (anything with a 1/2 pint of sour cream and a stick of butter has to be good and oh so wicked). And oh they were.

Dahling!!!
The patio looks simply stunning. What a perfect spot. How quickly it all came together!
We must get together on Friday, before the hellish week of Fiesta prep begins...
Kisses,
Craig
